The psychology of intuitive Betting
Taking part any sort of gaming type game often purveys a secret code individually wrapped in the persons’ inner psyche. This may sound grand but when one begins to think about the reasons for taking a certain action or performing a defined undertaking it becomes apparent that an intuitive level of reasoning appears for an event to take place.
For myself, I have enjoyed the numerous kinds of games and betting type games for numerous years and more recently have started to analyse and describe my findings. Although my time served conveyed as a professional has taken me in to many different arenas, from online gaming rooms and platforms, through to some of the greatest horse racing tracks in the world there is one simple and common denominator which is called, risk. Being risk adverse or more risky always carries a set thought process and manner. It can be defined and modified in many ways yet is a universal concept.
Opportunity Cost of Gaming
Even if we are at an occasion for great enjoyment or with an eye to gain on deposited monetary stakes it is how risk is considered that matters and defines the end conclusion. The extensive spectrum of risk is eventually valued at the opportunity cost of the money spent on a race, card, lottery ticket or other event. How the risk is softened in the intellect of the individual is satisfied by the view point taken at outset. As a point of reference, you could say, “ I ‘m only here to have some fun “ or “ nothing ventured nothing gained “ or even “ at least “ I got my money back “. These reactions show a wide analysis and are dependent on the originating situation. In other situations on a supplementary professional level it was more the case of looking for an investment return, studying form, number patterns or number sequences which called a certain reaction.
Inner Emotion
Over all and through out my dealings those inner feelings of satisfaction, elation, anger, plus many more were ultimately founded by the state of mind present as those gaming actions were in use. Over the years I have learnt to restrain my feelings and stay much more calm and look at the gaming event, elottery or challenge with the appropriate mind. It is doubtful that I would get angry or completely disillusioned if my lottery ticket never won the jackpot prize bank. Equally, a 1% return on a betting bank compounded every day would give another kind of emotion.
Therefore, I have looked at the many reasons we do things and the ways in which we do them when it comes to the wide panacea of betting and gambling. My results although not unique do underlay very recognizable human traits which many companies manipulate in the way they display their merchandise. Very clever artistry of thought and presentation is found in the gaming booths both on line and through the new era of bingo halls and houses. The “Punter” is king but still never forget an individual.
